Everything is Design…
“I design everything I do. If it’s not something I created, I can re-create an existing project, add some magic to it, all the while being careful with the purpose it is already serving so that it maintains its prime function.”

Experiential Design
Summer 2015. Tasked with Marketing Program Manager duties, overseeing all aspects of students Summerfest performances, including 30 franchise locations worldwide, 60 bands, over 250 participants and 10 celebrity guest judges. Here is a video of the event that I re-envisioned from a “Battle of the Bands” contest into a Celebrity Artist Mentoring Program for @200 young rockers and celebrities such as Earl Slick (Bowie, Lennon) Jennifer Batten (Michael Jackson) Eva Gardner and Mark Sculman (Pink).
Roger Daltrey thanked us personally and endorsed our entire company in a letter to me. His charity, Teen Cancer America partnered with the next major project I managed just six weeks after Summerfest, The All Star Tour.
From Roger:
“I’d like to thank the School of Rock and all of you young people that are helping to promote the work of The Who’s charity, Teen Cancer America. Teenagers helping teenagers with cancer by performing live shows is incredible and means a lot to me personally.
The music business as we know it would not exist without the support of teens and young adults.Their social needs have been ignored in the hospital system for too long and it is no longer acceptable.Teen Cancer America is a movement for change.”
-Roger Daltrey, The Who
Here are the corporate re-branding videos produced by UpBrand. I sourced, vetted and secured all aspects of the content in these videos. From deciding which parents and students to interview to negotiating and securing celebrity guest contracts releasing original song audio and video footage of themselves performing with our students.
